His priority and instinct is to always follow the music, capture performances and ensure the songs he works on reach their full potential.
Recent work includes Anna McLuckie’s critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Today Everyday’. He is currently working on new music from Thirteen Thirteen, The Creature Comfort and has recorded and mixed Paul and Jacqui’s new album NK Pop due for release on on October 7th 2022..
I worked with Tim on the Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott album ‘Manchester Calling. Tim engineered and mixed the entire album. I couldn’t have wished for a more professional and fun companion.
Tim makes everything seem simple in the recording process. He is musical, intuitive, knowledgeable and nothing seems to be complicated in its execution – no matter how complex it actually is.
We spent many long days together making the album and never fell out. That to me is the testament of a wonderful professional in the studio. He has all the recording skills in spades and trumps it with being a really great guy too.
Besides being a wonderful studio buddy and friend, he has a pretty good set of ears too!
